PANEL: Sharing Interfaith, Afghan, Muslim, Jewish perspectives on September 11

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How can we counter the primal call for collective retribution and foster social cohesion in Australia? Focussing on the September 11 attacks and what they represented significantly for all worldwide, this panel will facilitate the discussion surrounding lived Afghani experiences and the efforts of interfaith outreach here in Australia since the devastating 9/11 attacks. As organisations such as the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and Together for Humanity and Affinity delve deeply in to interfaith relations and outreach, this session will also explore recent efforts taken by humanitarian outreach organisation, the Massoud Foundation, who are committed to fostering an enduring relationship between Australians and the people of Afghanistan.
