CHUTNEY is a Sydney-based ensemble of passionate, talented musicians who play their unique brand of world music with crisp-as-a-cucumber melodies and the taste of cultural fusion. A dash of klezmer, a splash of funk, some middle-eastern vibes, not to mention shmultz and the odd blues notes, and you have CHUTNEY. On stage, everything is allowed: expect jazzy improvisation jams to high-spirited melodies that will surprise you. They come together for a spicy blend of sounds that will make your body dance and your ears sing.
The Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) is proud to present a sneak peek at their 2022 program: the first episode of the hilarious award-winning Israeli series 'Bloody Murray'. Winner of the Best Comedy Prize at Series Mania, the series centres on best friends and roommates Murray, a film lecturer specialising in romantic comedies, and Dana, a gynaecologist, as they navigate the often messy tangles of love and life.
The first three episodes will play at JIFF, screening at Ritz Cinemas, Randwick and Roseville Cinemas from October 25.
The full JIFF program will be revealed on September 16 at
